Job summary

• Site quality inspections: assist the QA/QC engineer in conducting daily inspections across building construction activities, including concrete pours, rebar works, masonry, waterproofing testing, and architectural finishes.
• Request for inspections (RFIs): prepare and submit inspection requests, coordinate joint site inspections with the consultants, and maintain RFI tracking logs.
• Material & sample testing: perform on-site sampling and testing (e.g., concrete slump tests, cube casting, soil tests) and track laboratory test results against project specifications.
• Quality compliance: monitor work execution to ensure strict compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, and applicable standards (BS, EN, ASTM, SLS).

Qualifications & experience

• Education: diploma, NDT, HNDE, NCT, or B.Sc. in civil engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience: minimum 2–3 years of experience in site quality control and inspection, preferably in high-rise building or major civil infrastructure projects.
• Technical knowledge: strong understanding of construction materials, concrete testing, rebar inspection, and finishing quality standards.
• Skills: ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel); strong attention to detail and technical reporting abilities.
