Quality Assurance Executive

About the company

The company, a subsidiary of Maliban Group of Companies, is one of the leading FSSC 22000 certified organizations, specialized in manufacturing and marketing of cookies, baby rusks, wafers, swiss rolls, cakes & bakery products.

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and result-oriented individual to fill the following position with immediate effect.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect raw materials, in-process production and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, HALAL…).
• Conduct routine quality checks and lab testing.
• Maintain proper documentation of test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Supervise hygiene and sanitation practices across the production floors.
• Ensure implementation of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions for non-conformities.
• Assist in audits (internal/external), including regulatory and certification audits.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, compliance documentation etc.

Qualifications and attributes

• BSc. Degree in food science or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institute. (Food technology).
• Minimum 2 years experience in handling ISO 22000:2018, 9001:2015, 14001:2015, HACCP, GMP, HALAL & SLS certification process.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• A passion for continual improvement and operational excellence.
• Outstanding leadership skills.
