Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, environment science, engineering or related field.
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in health & safety, preferably in FMCG / food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Experience in ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 systems and audit management.
- Strong leadership, communication and training capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and workplace inspections.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
- Develop safety policies, SOPs and emergency response procedures.
- Drive safety awareness and continuous improvement initiatives.
