Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a professional qualification in food science or relevant field.
- More than 5 years’ experience in quality management in FMCG organization.
- Deep knowledge in handling FSSC, GMP, HACCP, Halal, SLS standardization.
- Strong people handling & leadership skills.
- Good analytical skills and computer literacy.
- Strong communications skills both English & Sinhala.
- Age below 40 years.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA systems implementation across the production process.
- Develop and enforce quality management systems in line with FSSC, GMP, SLS, Halal, HACCP standards.
- Monitor product quality, resolve non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Work cross-functionally with production, R&D, and engineering for root cause analysis and quality improvements.
- Lead internal audits and support external certification processes.
- Manage QA team performance, training, and development.
- Use data analytics to drive preventive quality actions and enhance product consistency.
