Quality Assurance Executive

We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, and result-oriented individual with a strong desire for a career in Quality Assurance in the alcoholic beverage Industry. The position would suit a person with a moderate temperament and a high level of sensory ability.
Accountabilities
• Responsible for the overall operation of the GC-MS, GC-FID, HS GC-MS & Spectrophotometer analysis system with minimum supervision.
• Set up and overlook sensory evaluation of samples, prepare and evaluate sensory data and provide necessary approvals.
• Familiarization with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22000 management systems and conducting ISO internal audits and GMP audits.
• Analyse and report on consumer complaints
• Coordinate the routine production line activities related to the QA department.
Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry and/or equal professional qualification.
• Proven experience in the operation of GC-MS, GC-FID, HS GC-MS & Spectrophotometer systems for a minimum of 0 1 year.
• Experience in implementing and executing ISO, HACCP, and GMP.
• Exposure to providing solutions after analyzing data effectively.
• Have a customer-centric mindset with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage and interact with a wider range of stakeholders- suppliers, customers (both internal and external), regulatory authorities, etc.
• Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Sinhala)
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
