Lab assistant (QA/QC)

Join our quality assurance & quality control team and play a key role in maintaining the high-quality standards of Chroma Inks.

Key responsibilities

1. Inspect and test incoming raw materials according to approved specifications and test methods.
2. Record, maintain, and analyze laboratory test results accurately.
3. Assist in quality control testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.
4. Prepare, organize, and maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
5. Support ISO 9001 quality management system activities and documentation requirements.
6. Maintain sample retention systems and laboratory housekeeping standards.
7. Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and PPE requirements.
8. Identify and report non-conforming materials, products, and quality issues.
9. Assist in calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
10. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and laboratory operations.

Qualifications & skills

1. G.C.E. A/L in science stream with chemistry.
2. Minimum 6 months of laboratory, QA, or QC experience is an added advantage.
3. Basic computer literacy (MS Office applications).
4. Good analytical, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Good communication and organizational skills.
