Senior Mobile Device Technician (Apple & Samsung Specialist)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented mobile phone technician to join our dedicated service team in Vientiane. In this role, you will be the primary specialist responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing high-quality hardware and software repairs on premium smartphones, with a strict focus on Apple (iOS) and Samsung (Android) devices. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in component-level repair, a deep understanding of ESD safety protocols, and a commitment to maintaining manufacturer-level service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues across all recent models of Apple iPhones and Samsung Galaxy devices.
• Perform precise hardware replacements, including OLED/LCD screens, battery units, charging ports, camera modules, and logic boards.
• Execute micro-soldering repairs on logic boards and small internal components.
• Conduct post-repair quality control testing to ensure full device functionality, water resistance (where applicable), and system calibration.
• Maintain a strict electrostatic protected area (EPA) workspace and adhere to all ESD safety standards.
• Log all diagnostics, repair steps, and parts used into the internal inventory management system accurately.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to the customer service team to ensure accurate client quoting and expectation management.

Required qualifications & experience

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a mobile device repair technician, specifically handling flagship Apple and Samsung devices.
• Proven expertise in micro-soldering and component-level logic board diagnostics.
• Strong familiarity with specialized repair tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, hot air rework stations, and precision screwdrivers).
• Experience using proprietary diagnostic software (such as Apple GSX or similar Android diagnostic tools).
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical service manuals.
• Strong organizational skills to manage high repair volumes without compromising meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: Active or previous Apple certified iOS technician (ACIT) certification or Samsung authorized service training.
