Mechanical Executive

RMC Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd is a leading food manufacturing company located in Sapugaskanda. We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Mechanical Executive to join our engineering team at our manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Lead breakdown troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Monitor equipment reliability, availability, and maintenance KPIs
• Coordinate maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers
• Manage PM schedules, work orders, and equipment history
• Support boiler, compressor, HVAC, chiller, pump, CIP, WTP/ETP and production equipment maintenance
• Support mechanical installation, commissioning, modification and improvement projects
• Identify opportunities for energy saving, cost reduction and Kaizen improvements
• Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for technical services and spare parts
• Prepare maintenance procedures, risk assessments, method statements and technical reports
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, GMP and FSSC 22000 requirements
• Develop technical capabilities of maintenance technicians through coaching and training

Qualifications & experience

• BSc. in Mechanical Engineering – Fresh graduates / relevant experience considered
• HND in Mechanical Engineering – Minimum 1 year relevant experience
• NDT in Mechanical Engineering – Minimum 2 years relevant experience

Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or process industries will be an added advantage.
