Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components for semiconductor wafer processing equipment.
• Create precise 3D/2D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using CAD, ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply best practices and calculations to validate designs for functionality, durability, and performance.
• Analyze and resolve supplier/manufacturing issues to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Integrate mechanical systems with electrical, software, and control systems for efficient operation.
• Collaborate with R&D on innovations and engineering research for product enhancements.
• Conduct design testing, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis, ensuring industry compliance.
• Oversee product maturity, managing design revisions for reliability and quality.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain task calendars, track project progress, and provide reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in mechanical engineering or a related field with 3–5 years in mechanical design and development.
• Skilled in SolidWorks, creating precise 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings for manufacturability.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and adherence to industry best practices and regulations.
• Experienced in optimizing designs for efficient and cost-effective production and familiar with semiconductor equipment design guidelines.
• Skilled in analyzing and resolving complex engineering challenges to enhance product reliability.
• Effective in English, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Highly creative, contributing to product enhancements through research and development.
• Detail-oriented, preparing design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
