Senior Technician / Technician

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) is a leading professional organization supporting over 6000 Chartered Accountants and one of the largest tertiary education providers in the country with a mammoth base of 30,000 students.

The Institute is seeking an outstanding, result-oriented, and energetic individual with a high level of responsibility, dedication, competence, confidence, drive, and adaptability to take over the above position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assets the building and repair mechanical systems to ensure consistency of health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels ICT equipment, etc.)
• Assist in the setup of ventilation refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary (AC, Elevator, CCTV, PABX, Fire system, and other electrical and mechanical equipment)
• Maintain and repair plumbing and heating components including washroom and other areas within the premises
• Prepare, prime, and paint building interior and exterior surfaces if needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary
• Compile with all policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment with the help of the cleaning team.

Qualification and Experience

• Certificate or diploma level from a reputed technical college (NVQ Level 03 to 05).
• Five years of working experience.
• General knowledge of the electrical wiring phase and electrical qualification.
• Practical knowledge of plumbing and AC machinery will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in MS office and ability to work with minimum supervision
• Interpersonal and team handling skills.
• Ability to work according to deadlines and deliver expected results.
