Senior Multi-Duty Technician

Experience

• 10+ years experience with condominiums buildings or in high-rise building.

Key qualifications

• GCE (A/L) maths and middle level technical educational qualifications / vocational training.
• Diploma or certificate course in the field of MEP.
• NVQ level 4 or equivalent.

Job overview

Technicians should have hands-on skills to operate and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, elevators, water & sewer pumps, fire pumps, swimming pool plant, air conditioners, telecommunications, equipment, various ELV equipment, access control devices, electrical lighting and power distribution systems etc.

Technicians are also required to carry out regular preventive maintenance tasks and keep maintenance records on a roster basis duty.

Key duties & responsibilities

• Carryout regular inspection in the facility as per schedule. (Generators, elevators, STP, water pumps, gas supply system, fire system, electrical panel ext.) & reporting to the facility manager.
• Preventive maintenance related to electrical and mechanical services/repairs.
• Identifying maintenance risk on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Must be a good team player.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Need to contribute to maintain the facility as a five star hotel category.
