Senior Electrical Engineer

Job profile

• Lead and supervise electrical engineering works related to the building project.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, technical documents, and work plans.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project departments.
• Ensure electrical works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues related to electrical works.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, safety requirements, and regulations.
• Prepare and review technical reports, progress reports, material requirements, and other project documentation.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to electrical engineers, technicians, and site teams.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, architectural, and other disciplines to avoid delays and conflicts.
• Carry out other engineering and project-related duties assigned by the company.

Candidate profile

• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in construction or large-scale building/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience in supervising electrical subcontractors and site activities.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Good knowledge of relevant electrical standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office will be an advantage.
• Good English communication skills are required.
• Previous experience in a construction project environment will be an advantage.
