Senior Design Engineer – ELV

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop ELV systems including ICT, security, audio-visual, BMS, GRMS, PA, and access control for high-end commercial and hospitality projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate ELV systems seamlessly with MEP services and architectural designs.
• Provide senior-level design documentation, system layouts, schematics, and technical specifications in line with project standards.
• Coordinate with project/site teams for design implementation and resolve design-related site issues.
• Review and validate technical submittals from vendors to ensure design compliance.
• Drive innovation and optimization in ELV system design to meet evolving industry demands and client expectations.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and support technical coordination across disciplines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in ELV design and coordination, especially in resorts and large commercial projects.
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong command of design tools such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, etc.
• Prior experience in international or large-scale commercial projects is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative team mindset.
• Willing to work in Maldives.
