Mechanical Engineer – Plumbing & PHE

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for design of PHE & FF systems; ensuring that these systems meet applicable standards & codes.
2. Preparation of design drawings, shop drawings, coordination of drawings and as-built drawings.
3. Preparation of engineering estimates, costing and tendering.
4. Providing technical support to project staff regarding projects or issues related to PHE & FF systems.
5. Project planning, coordination & supervision of project activities & correspondence.
6. Ensure all paper works submission (e.g., vendor approval submission, project reports and schedule submission and works executed on sites are according to specification, drawings and project requirement).
7. Work closely with the procurement team and suppliers.
8. Support for the project procurement – take off/ technical compliance & price comparison/ MAR preparation / RFO & MR.
9. Proceeding/ call technical quotations from the suppliers.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor` degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2-4 years experience in similar nature in the field of building service engineering.
3. Fluency in MS Project, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
4. Excellent communication both verbal and written skills in English.
5. Should have the experience to identify the materials used in the projects related to the building services (MEP).
6. Willingness to travel overseas as when required.
