Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Engineer to support our interior design and civil construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating electrical works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality and safety standards, and completing projects efficiently within planned timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation and construction activities.
- Ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project teams.
- Review electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documents.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, materials, and resource requirements.
- Inspect electrical installations and ensure quality and compliance.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related electrical issues.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Prepare site reports, progress updates, measurements, and relevant documentation.
- Support project management in achieving quality, cost, and timeline targets.
Qualifications & experience
- BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, interior, or building services projects.
- Sound knowledge of electrical engineering principles and building electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, architectural, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and relevant safety practices.
- Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
