Manager – Imports & Exports

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic manager – imports & exports to oversee import and export activities and take the lead in motorcycle spares & scooters imports, developing our new vegetables export business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the overall business operations of the company, including sales, import & export, distribution and related commercial activities.
• Work with the existing import office team to ensure import-related activities are properly handled and completed.
• Take responsibility for developing and establishing the company’s fruits & vegetables export business.
• Identify and build relationships with reliable local fruit & vegetable suppliers and growers.
• Conduct field visits and supplier sourcing activities to develop a strong supply network.
• Coordinate purchasing, product quality, documentation, logistics and shipment arrangements.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of the new export business.

Candidate profile

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in import / export, trading or a related field.
• Degree / diploma or relevant professional qualification in import & export, logistics, supply chain, business management or a related field.
• Age above 40 years.
• Strong knowledge of import & export procedures, documentation and logistics.
• Practical experience in supplier sourcing and field-level business development.
• Ability to take responsibility for developing a new vegetables export operation.
• Willingness to travel for supplier identification and field activities.
