Chief Engineer/ Assistant Engineer

He /she will be primarily responsible in

• Develop, recommend, implement and manage the department’s budget capital expenditure plan, forecasts, and objectives consistent with maintaining a first-class property and management’s expectations
• Continually monitor and analyze electricity, water, and fuel consumption levels in order to reduce wastage wherever possible and achieve excellent energy consumption results
• Manage the Maintenance team effectively
• Ensure the Health & Safety act is practiced effectively
• Plan and implement a preventive maintenance program for all buildings, equipment, and machinery
• Follow environmental statutory requirements and promote environmentally friendly policies and practices
• Develop new maintenance plans and submit them to the management
• Ensures all fire and safety inspections are completed and any discrepancies are corrected

Candidate Profile

• National Diploma in Technology (NDT) or Certified in Ceylon German Technical Tainting Institute (CGTTI) with 3 years of a full-time course.
• More than 10 years of experience in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration or Electrical Engineering Fields with a minimum of 3 years experience in a management capacity at a star-class hotel
