Area manager – operations
We are looking for a results oriented dynamic person with below qualifications to join with us to our operations team.
Job responsibilities
- Plan and manage the recruitment of workers and staff according to client requirements and ensure the right number of employees are deployed to each client location.
- Ensure continuous manpower availability without shortages and monitor attendance, shift schedules, and replacements.
- Communicate with client companies regarding manpower requirements, complaints, or manpower issues.
- Strong leadership, multi-tasking and communications skills.
- Team player with good work ethic and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to report to work to check early morning operations is essential.
Requirements
- Professional qualifications or a relevant sound educational background is essential.
- Previous experience in sales/staff handling/ production in a similar capacity or a similar managerial position with 5 years of experience is essential.
- Being based near the Homagama, Pangoda, Pitipana area is essential.
- Being able to work independently and effectively to meet the operational deadlines within a given time frame is essential.
- Highly competent in process and system knowledge, together with computer literacy, including MS. Office package.
