Wijeya Newspapers Limited (WNL) is a Sri Lankan media company that publishes a number of national newspapers magazines and digital products. We are looking for software engineers who would like to work with online and mobile versions of Dailymirror, Lankadeepat Dailyft, Timesonline, Tamilmirror, HitAd, and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related disciplines
• Minimum 1+ years of web development experience with PHP
• Good experience in Codeigniter, and Laravel frameworks is an advantage
• Solid understanding of Web API, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap
• Good knowledge of MVC structure development patterns and OOP
• Experience in React, Angular, or Ionic will be a plus
• Hands-on exposure in working with cloud providers like AWS and Oracle
• Good knowledge of SQL-based database concepts
• Hands-on experience in cross-platform mobile application development is an advantage
• Good practice in Coding, Debugging, and Analytical Skills
• Willingness to learn different programming languages and technologies
• Should be an outstanding team player with a self-driven/self-motivation attitude
• Good communication skills
