Cloud Engineer – Microsoft Azure

Qualification & Experience

• A University degree in Computer Science
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Solid experience working in the Azure Portal, Azure Governance, Azure Policy, Management Groups, Compliance
• Sound Knowledge in Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Azure AD Connect
• Core storage, network, and computing knowledge in Azure Infrastructure As a Service (laas) Core
• Possess strong technical writing presentation and training skills
• One-on-one customer engagement skills and collaboratively working with both Internal Support and Product Support teams
• Strong troubleshooting skills or support experience
• Microsoft Certifications qualifications desirable
• Skills In Following Technologies WOUId Be Considered Desirable,
• Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Landing Zones, Well-Architected and Enterprise Scale
• Automation / Orchestration knowledge — Azure Automation, Runbooks
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Security Center
• Azure DevOps, GitHub or Jenkins, Git Source Control and Release Pipelines
• Azure Kubernetes Service (A(S) and Containers / Docker knowledge
• ARM JSON, Bicept, or Terraform Templates — (Infrastructure as code) Azure CLI and /or PowerShell

Core Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide technical leadership for Global Enterprise customers, to ensure their environments are kept secure, optimized, and healthy through proactive and consultative services delivered either remotely or on-premises.
• Offer guidance on recommended practices, risk assessments, migrations, solutions and architecture review, remote and dedicated support services
• Implementing, automating, and troubleshooting Microsoft Azure Infrastructure solutions through the Azure Portal
• Understanding Security concepts for Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft Operating Systems
