Junior devops engineer

Medcube USA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented junior DevOps engineer to join our growing technology team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, application deployment, and monitoring while working with experienced developers and DevOps engineers. Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Support automated build, testing, and deployment processes for .NET core and angular applications
• Keep Git repositories, branching, and release processes
• Work with developers and QA teams to support application deployments and environment management
• Troubleshoot basic deployment, configuration, and infrastructure issues
• Maintain technical documentation for deployments, environments, and procedures
• Follow DevOps, security, and cloud best practices

Required qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies

Technical competencies

• 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, system administration, or a related role
• Basic knowledge of .NET core / ASP.NET core applications
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure services
• Good understanding of Git and branching strategies
• Experience with Docker
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices
• Basic scripting knowledge using Powershell, Bash, or YAML
• Basic understanding of application deployment and environment management

Preferred (nice to have)

• Experience with Azure app services, Azure SQL, Azure storage, or Azure functions
• Familiarity with Azure monitor and application insights
• Basic knowledge of Terraform or infrastructure as code
• Basic Linux administration knowledge
• Azure certification such as AZ-900 or AZ-104
• Familiarity with AZ-400 DevOps practices
