Senior Software QA Engineer

Our client is one of the leading US Based Software companies which is located in Colombo.

Responsibilities

• Writing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Playwright with Typescript, and Selenium with Python.
• Version controlling with Git/GitHub repository.
• Integrate automated test scripts on eithub with Cl/CD pipeline.
• Involved in compatibility testing to evaluate sysWm performance under varying conditions using different devices and browsers.
• Test Management and Defect Management.
• Create comprehensive WM documentation like test plans.
• Come up with estimates, prioritise, plan, and coordinate QE activities.
• Work closely on the project deadlines to ensure WM automation scripting is delivered on time.
• Setting up goals and objectives for QE Engineers end guiding junior QE members.
• Set quality standards for the Warns in various new testing technologies in the industry.
• Conduct code reviews on test scripts a. provide the peer review comments to the peers a. review comments incorporations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Test Automation.
• Experience with Automation testing tools and developing frameworks such as Playwright with Typescript, and Selenium with Python
• will be mandatory.
• Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, end Xpath locators.
• Familiarity with Cl/CD tools (HIT. GitHub Actions) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).
• A good understanding of design principles and writing clean test code.
• Experience in version control systems like eitHub.
• Experience in bug analysis is used to increase test coverage in critical areas.
• Proficiency in Agile end Scrum methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of Cloud applications.
• Knowledge of application testing/security testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of Mobile testing is a plus.
• Previous working experience with offshore clients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
