Pepper Life (Pvt) Ltd. Sri Lanka’s pioneering experiential travel company is looking for a passionate team member to join the team.

Pepper offers an evolving portfolio of hosted experiences and activities aimed at really connecting with Sri Lanka’s culture and people. Our intrepid team have spent more than a decade discovering and curating experiences across the island to add flavor and insight to the itineraries of its discerning visitors.

Key responsibilities

1. Attend to client enquiries over the counter, phone or email. Sell experiences directly to guests.
2. Make reservations and carry out operational procedures comprehensively.
3. Assist in the overall sales process.
4. Coordinate guides, drivers, suppliers and other parties. Organize transport for guests.
5. Manage reservations for experiences.
6. Assist with customer care, attending to any complaints that may arise.
7. Assist in evaluating risk assessments for all experiences and ensuring full corporate compliance in terms of health and safety.

Desirable competencies and skills

1. Excellent sales, operational and organizational skills. Impeccable verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
2. A keen eye for detail and perfection.
3. Ability to understand, connect and relate to sophisticated travelers.
4. Desire to meet people and host guests.
5. Computer literacy.
6. Experience in the tourism and hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
7. Team player.
8. Good organizational and time-management skills.
9. Customer-oriented mindset with commercial awareness.

Academic requirements

1. Degree or equivalent.

Experience

1. 2 years in similar capacity.
