ART Television Broadcasting Company established in 2003 is a leading name in Sri Lanka’s Television industry and has positioned itself as the Media that’s beyond. It is one of the first broadcast companies in Asia to partner with CNN & broadcast content free-to-air. We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to head our MCR team.

Responsibilities

• React quickly to technical problems to prevent and resolve on-air issues
• Character generator Operations
• Assigning relevant work to the team and preparing monthly duty roster
• Procurement of Equipment for MCR
• On-call support for Technical and Operation issues
• Check on a daily basis. if, Play Out Server, NAS Server. Recording -NLE. Logo Generator, Encoders, Satellite Receiver. Air Conditions and UPS are operational
• Fault fixing & maintenance of MCR Equipment
• Maintaining the Program Library and NAS Server
• Maintaining FTP Server and technical support for the other departments

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of LIVE television experience in a similar capacity
• Fair knowledge of maintenance and management of audio/visual equipment
• Fair knowledge of maintenance of telecommunication apparatus such as microwave links, base stations, etc
• Strong communication and organizational skills. both verbal and written
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and intense environment
• Ability to identify problems and troubleshoot before affecting air
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Flexibility to work all shifts in a 24/7/365 News operation

Candidates living within a 10 Km radius of the Peliyagada broadcasting station will be given preferences.
