Relationship Manager – Deposit Mobilizations

Key responsibilities

  1. Oversee and manage end-to-end deposit operations across branches to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence.
  2. Develop and implement operational strategies to grow and retain the deposit portfolio in line with organizational targets.
  3. Ensure all deposit products, processes, and documentation comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  4. Monitor operational risks, identify gaps, and implement controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
  5. Work closely with branch managers and operational teams to improve turnaround times and customer experience.
  6. Review and enhance operational processes, systems, and controls to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
  7. Handle escalations, customer complaints, and operational exceptions related to deposit operations.
  8. Prepare operational reports, MIS, and performance updates for senior management.

Qualifications & experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree or a professional qualification in Marketing, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university or institute.
  2. A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in deposit operations within a bank or non-banking financial institution.
  3. Strong knowledge of deposit products, operational workflows, regulatory guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  5. High computer literacy with MS Office applications and core banking systems.
