About the Job

This role will be responsible to deliver high quality DevOps/SRE capabilities ensuring highly automated products been invented and maintained across Datacenter and Cloud environments With the limitless technology variations, it opens the opportunity for continuous dynamic innovations, conceptualizing strategies that will deliver faster, reliable and scalable applications You will be hired as one of the best and brightest in your field who can challenge our team to think about solutions differently and contribute to the continuous growth of the team’s performance.

Scope

You will be part of a global team that will drive best practice in the hybrid cloud ecosystem, we work in a lean agile fashion with fortnightly sprints You will be expected to collaborate with and support other agile product development teams and operational teams whose primary responsibilities are defined under the given five pillars.

Scope also includes working hand in hand with global engineering teams, collaboration on global initiatives and working with highly dynamic agile environment Apart from the Engineering contribution, you are expected to provide on-call support in frequent basis where you are required to attend priority 1 and priority 2 incidents with operations personnel Some travel may be required as per the business demands (subject to government travel regulations)

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for passionate engineers with a hunger to learn and adapt to modern technology quickly We demand people who are naturally curious, can self-start and share learnings and outcomes effectively with a distributed team.

Things We Expect You to Know:

• Able to develop capabilities with minimum supervision according to the acceptance criteria.
• Sound knowledge on software engineering principles, concepts and experience on developing backend applications with Python, Java or any other languages.
• Understanding of scripting languages.
• Understanding of middleware such as Apache, IIS, NodeJS, etc…
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, unit tests, integration testing.
• Good knowledge in Linux and Windows platforms
• Good understanding of Cloud computing concepts and basic practical knowledge of Cloud services and application.
• General Understanding of DB technologies
• General Understating of Networking concepts
• Basic understanding of serverless technologies
• Basic understanding of containerization technologies
• Fair knowledge in Agile practices
• Passionate about learning and applying DevOps skills.
• Able to collaborate with a globally distributed team of engineers using industry standard collaboration tools.

Educational Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• (3rd year or 4th year undergraduates are also considered who are looking for internship opportunities)

Personal Skills

• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Fluent in English as a business language
