Software Developer (for ERP) (Trainee/ Experienced)

Ontash is a US-based company with branch offices in Sri Lanka & India. We are looking for a dynamic IT professional who can work with minimum supervision in our Colombo start-up office.

Functions: ODOO Developer/ Programmer

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Effective verbal, written & interpersonal skills
• A proactive person who can learn on the job and take the initiative to get the job done
• Fluent in a high-level programming language such as C++/ Java/ PHP/ C#/ F#/ Python
• Any experience or knowledge in ODOO/ Python will be a plus point

Desired skills:

• Ability to work with and administer Linux/UNIX operating systems and write scripts in bash or Python
• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies
• Experience with development tools such as JIRA, GIT, and/or SVN
• Experience working with and managing database servers such as SQL Server and MySQL
• Strong understanding of database design. Server administration, query optimization, and writing database stored procedures
• Knowledge and experience with Continuous Engineering Tools such as Jenkins
