HR Intern

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and strategy, including candidate management
• Screen resumes and application forms, schedule and confirm interviews with candidates, and research sourcing platforms
• Assist with HR compliance procedures and best practices
• Assisting newcomers and arranging introductory meetings
• Maintenance of proper filing system for HR records and documents
• Assisting with the daily office duties and tasks
• Other tasks of similar nature upon request

Required Skills and Experience

• Working experience in human resources is an asset, but not required
• Proficient in managing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and databases
• A desire to work with and gain the confidence and respect of people with a different language, and national and cultural backgrounds
• Written and spoken proficiency in English and Sinhala
