IT Technician – IT Department

Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka & Finance PLC. a well-established Finance Company, and a subsidiary of Bank Of Ceylon is looking for a professionally qualified, dynamic, and result-oriented individual to join the IT team as IT Technician

Job Role

• Proper Maintenance of UPS and CCTV Systems in the branches
• Ensure UPS and CCTV inventories are updated in the Manage Engine System
• Ability to manage Data, Power, and Voice cabling for the head office and branches
• Ability to attend to the Fingerprint Device issues in the branches
• Attend PABX & Telephone related issues
• Ensure network-related issues including replacing branch network switches
• Good knowledge and understanding of IT products / Technologies (Hardware, Software, and Network)
• Should be able to monitor the wide area network (WAN) across the branches (Branch VPN & CCTV)

Profile

• G.C.E (OIL) examination preferably with 5 Credit Passes & 03 Years of experience.
  OR
• G.C.E (A/L) Examination with 3 Passes.
• Should be a Male candidate.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel to the branches.
• Should hold a valid driving license.
• Having a Certificate in HND or NVQ will be an added advantage.
• Age: Preferably below 30 years
