In-room Wellness Therapist

Job Requirements

• Have proven relevant working experience
• Hands-on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing and face/body therapies
• User-level computer skills
• Fluent in English language

Qualifications

• STA Graduate in Wellness & Spa or of the equivalent
• Proven formal training in aesthetics or physiotherapy considered an asset
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Other Skills and Attributes

• Experience in sales will be considered an asset
• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Communication and customer service skills
• Have unquestionable discretion.
• Well-versed in hotel software packages is considered an asset.
• Self-motivated, professional, courteous and an enthusiastic team player.
• Have a friendly outgoing personality and be goal-oriented.
• Experienced and able to adapt; coping with the diverse customers and their needs.
• Able to exercise self-control and able to handle complaints, deal with difficult situations.
• Maintain an organized and neat work environment.
• Be passionate about your interests and personal growth.

Position Overview

• Reports to the Front Office Manager.
• Based on the Island, full time. 
• A full-time position of eight hours to ten hours a day but given the nature of the business some flexibility is required.
• The work schedule will be varied, including early morning, day, evening and weekend shifts.

Scope of the Position

To provide professional and engaging wellness therapies and massage treatments to our guests; offering a full range of treatments to fulfill different client needs and objectives.
