Software Engineer (PHP)

Responsibility

• Customize and configure the Hospital Health Information Management System (HHIMS) based on the requests of the hospitals
• Discuss and identify specific requirements of the users with the hospital staff and the ICTA project team and make necessary system configurations
• HHIMS product maintenance in selected Government hospitals
• Maintain the software and databases in order to ensure business continuity
• Effectively communicate the software-related issues to the ICTA technology team
• Provide user & administrator training on system functionalities and system troubleshooting

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, IT, or equivalent qualifications related to the field from a recognized university/institution
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience
• In-depth experience in Java and working proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience with the Spring Framework
• Exposure to microservices architecture and building RESTful APIs
• Experience building solutions for a cloud platform (like AWS, Azure, or GCP) will be advantageous
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD
• Experience with containerization using Docker
• Experience in automation (Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration-as-Code) will be an advantage
• Familiarity with Python, and Golang will be advantageous
• Understanding of software development within the Agile process
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
