Front-end developer

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
2. Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
3. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
4. Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end.
5. Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to maintain high-quality code standards.

Requirements

1. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
2. Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
3. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
4. Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS, AngularJS, or KnockoutJS.
5. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
6. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
7. Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.

Qualifications

1. A degree or professional qualification in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
