VoIP Service Delivery Engineer

The Position

Exetel is looking for a VoIP Service Delivery Engineer to join our Superloop Delivery team, to provide technical assistance and develop solutions that enable the seamless Provisioning/Service Delivery of VoIP services.

Exetel’s Colombo office is located at CBD Business Center, Colombo 01 with working hours from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales teams to define VoIP solutions for customer opportunities
• Attend customer meetings to act as the technical expert as required by the sales team
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services and pricing plans.
• Ensure excellent levels of customer service are delivered to all customers
• Ensure customers are informed about new features and offer when in discussions or consulting projects
• Provide ongoing training and development for team members including product and service knowledge, service delivery processes, and business competencies.
• Coordination and oversight of the VoIP service delivery process with the account manager and customer
• Work with the sales representative to finalize proposals to assist in closing a deal
• Understand current industry products and trends and their relation to Superloop offerings
• Provide up-to-date statistics of meetings attended and outcomes achieved.
• Act as an escalation point for account managers and customers during the provisioning of VoIP services
• Cancellations of VoIP services

Qualifications and Experience

• Compliant and effective use of Salesforce
• Minimum 2 years of VoIP experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Sciences or relevant
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to tailor language to suit the audience
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize and execute plans in a fast-paced environment
• Contributor to a positive, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.
