EHS Advisor

Key responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and organizational sustainability and EHS standards.
2. Lead environmental impact assessments, environmental monitoring programs, and sustainability initiatives focused on waste reduction, resource efficiency, and pollution prevention.
3. Oversee wastewater treatment, solid waste management, environmental compliance, and risk mitigation projects across manufacturing operations.
4. Plan and conduct environmental audits, emergency response drills, and incident investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
5. Support the implementation of critical EHS programs, including Working at height, Hot work, Confined space entry, Contractor management, and LOTO.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in environmental performance, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, engineering, environmental science, fire safety, chemistry, or a related discipline.
2. Full or partial NEBOSH UK qualification.
3. Minimum 6–8 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to environmental compliance, sustainability, and risk management.
4. ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 lead auditor or internal auditor certification will be an added advantage.
5. Proven experience in EHS compliance, environmental management, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, environmental monitoring, waste management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
