Systems Administrator (Male)

Direct Mailing Services, a Company involved in Staff Sourcing activities wishes to recruit a hard-working individual with a good personality, between the ages of 25 – 45, for the above position.

Candidate Profile

•  Higher Diploma in IT or Degree in the same
• Knowledge of server maintenance
• Knowledge in networking& infrastructure maintenance
• At least 1 year of work experience is mandatory
•  A valid riding license is an added advantage 
• Should be willing to work on Poya days/Holidays IF required

Job Role

•  Monitor network traffic, identify unusual bandwidth trends, and take appropriate action to ensure uninterrupted internet connection
• Maintain the firewall including user creation, monitoring of usage, and reporting 
• Be in charge of the implementation of cyber security policy and monitor staff adherence to the policy
• The setting of new machines which includes installing OS, MS Office, Outlook, etc
• Take appropriate actions to replace or repair defective parts and equipment
• Monitor and remove viruses, spyware, and other non-authorized software from end-user machines
• Advise and implement best practices in the company’s IT infrastructure
• Assist in any other work in the IT & Printing department

Experience with programming languages, debugging and software troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
