Assistant Manager – HR

We are looking to expand our operation significantly in order to provide more value-added services to our customers. We are looking for a young, dynamic, self-motivated, and aspiring individual to join our team in the capacity of Assistant Manager HR.

Responsibilities

  • Deputize the entire HR and Admin-related activities in the organization
  • Timely attend to fulfill the manpower requirements <Staff and above categories)
  • Make sure to improve the existing performance management system in the company
  • Training & Development analyze training needs and follow up annual training plan)
  • Time attendance and Payroll Management Thorough understating is a must
  • Compliance management work as the main custodian for WRAP/ISO/ OCS & GRS audits
  • HR Events — Lead the team to materialize the annual HR event calendar in a perfect manner
  • HR analytics – prepare HR statistical reports for stakeholders
  • Disciplinary management and take necessary steps to maintain L TO and absenteeism
  • Ensure healthy employee relations by liaising with the employee council/ professional counselor
  • Take necessary initiatives to improve HR/Admin-related functions/processes
  • Assist to develop policies and procedures for the company

Qualifications & Experience

  • Preferred educational background: Post Graduate Degree in Human Resource Management either from CIPM or NIBM or any other recognized institution
  • Preferred Work Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in Business HR and experience in change management will be an advantage cat least 5-year experience in an apparel production environment would be a definite advantage
  • Preferred Skill Set: Business Focus, Results in Orientation, Process Orientation, Relationship management, Change management, Effective listening & Collaboration, and fluency in English & Sinhala (both written & spoken
  • Sound IT literacy is a must to handle HRIS and other functions in the HR dept
  • Age: 30 – 40 years (female candidates are preferred
