DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
• Work collaboratively with the development team to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
• Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code
• Define and document cloud use policies, standards, and processes and ensure compliance with those policies.
• Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas.
• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems.
• Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization.
• Work closely with cloud support services companies to complete coverage of cloud-based work packages.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2-3 years of experience building and
  maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, ECZ Security Groups, IAM, ECST CodeDeploy, CloudFront, S3, Lambda, Aurora, AppSync)
• Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
• A solid foundation of cloud networking, segmentations, proxies, ACLs, and firewalls
• Experience in building continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) pipelines
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
• Strong bias for action and ownership
• Experience implementing security & risk standards (e.g. ISO 27001/2, PCI-DSS, Cloud Security (AWS\Azure), etc).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Development of cloud design documents.
