Data Center Administrator

The Job:

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Administrator to manage and optimize our data center operations, ensuring system uptime, security, and reliability for our manufacturing and business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the data center, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Manage servers, storage, and network systems in a secure and efficient manner.
• Perform regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure.
• Ensure proper backup procedures are followed, and data integrity is maintained.
• Implement security protocols and monitor for any breaches or threats to the infrastructure.
• Collaborate with teams to support IT needs and ensure system integration.
• Ensure efficient use and maintenance of hardware, software, and network resources.
• Document IT processes, configurations, and updates per company standards.
• Assist in planning and executing system upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
• Provide support for hardware failures or system outages, implementing disaster recovery.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in managing data centers or IT infrastructure.
• Proficient in server hardware, virtualization, storage, and networking technologies.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and data backup systems.
• Familiar with industry-standard monitoring and management tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
