Data analyst

Responsibilities

1. Analyze large datasets related to sales, ticketing, revenue, and customer trends across global markets.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards and automated reports for business performance tracking.
3. Monitor and evaluate KPIs across ticketing, inbound, outbound, and corporate travel operations.
4. Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies to support data-driven decision-making.
5. Perform forecasting and predictive analysis for revenue and demand planning.
6. Conduct market and competitor data analysis within the international travel trade industry.
7. Collaborate with sales, finance, operations, and global teams to deliver actionable insights.
8. Provide analytical information to the management for strategic decision-making purposes.
9. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and reports.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, IT, finance, or a related field.
2. CIMA qualification will be considered an added advantage.
3. Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a data analyst role (experience in the travel trade or airline industry is a strong advantage).
4. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
5. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, power query, macros).
6. Experience with data visualization tools such as AI tools, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
7. Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is an added advantage.
8. Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and business recommendations.
9. Strong communication and stakeholder reporting skills.
