QA Engineer

The Role

• Create and maintain (manual or automated) tests for functional, Integration and regression.
• Execute test cases, (manual or automated) analyze results and report bugs.
• Continually improve quality assurance processes to ensure a high level of software quality.
• Write automation scripts using JavaScript or other scripting languages.
• Work with other teams to plan, coordinate and execute integration tests.
• Debug user/internally reported issues to identify potential patterns/ root causes.
• Task allocation: (manual 50 / automation 50)

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of overall experience in both manual and automation tests for web applications.
• Experience in creating testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/ scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated risk.
• Sound knowledge of quality assurance practices and fundamentals.
• Ability to code in JavaScript.
• Experience with Cypress, and Node.js based testing framework would be a plus.
• A solid understanding of fundamental web technologies.
• The ability to work on multiple tasks, set priorities in a dynamically changing environment.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
