Travel Assistant

A leading Shipping company with an international network of Agents engaged in diversified industrial and commercial operations in Sri Lanka and abroad has a vacancy in its Travels & Tours Department:

Ceylon Shipping Lines — Travels & Tours is an IATA accredited Travel Agent, that involves in Ticketing, inbound and outbound Travel, and tours and tour packages looking for a young, self-motivated, and energetic individual for the following position.

Job Role

• Should be able to identify customer travel requirements and provide the best solutions
• Should be able to issue Air tickets, Calculate fairs and make bookings on GDS
• Should be able to issue Travel Insurance, Provide Visa assistance and handle travel-related other services. Educational and professional qualifications
• Minimum of 02 years experience in Airline Ticketing
• Adequate knowledge of the GDS system (preferably in Amadeus)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to perform as a team
• Diploma in Travel & Tourism
• GCE A/L, O/L
