Business analyst

We are seeking a business analyst with 2+ years of experience to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. This role involves working closely with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into clear functional specifications.

Role & responsibilities

1. Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
2. Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications.
3. Work closely with developers, QA, and project managers to ensure solution delivery.
4. Create user stories, process flows, and software requirement specifications.
5. Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and stand-ups.
6. Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, or similar for tracking and documentation.
7. Assist in prioritizing requirements based on business value and feasibility.

Requirements & qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience as a business analyst or in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
4. Experience working in agile/scrum environments is preferred.
5. Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and related BA tools.
6. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
