Business analyst responsibilities

• Work closely with U.S. clients to understand business requirements and objectives.
• Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Gather, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create BRD, user stories, process flows, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver solutions.
• Support testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities.
• Provide ongoing client support and help drive continuous improvement.

Associate business analyst responsibilities

• Support senior BAs in requirement gathering and documentation.
• Coordinate with U.S. clients to understand their needs and clarify requirements.
• Prepare meeting notes, process flows, and simple documentation.
• Help in user story creation and backlog management.
• Assist in UAT, training, and deployment activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, QA, DevOps, support).
• Learn domain knowledge and grow into a full business analyst role.

Qualifications & experience

• Business analyst: 2+ years of experience in business analysis (systems / IT environment preferred).
• Associate business analyst: 0-2 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in managed services or multi-client environment is an advantage.

Key skills

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (mandatory) to work with U.S. clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate to technical requirements.
• Good documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools is an advantage.
