Branch Manager – Moratuwa Branch

Key responsibilities

1. Manage the overall operations and performance of the branch.
2. Drive branch sales and achieve assigned revenue and KPI targets.
3. Recruit, develop, coach, and motivate the branch sales team.
4. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while expanding the client base.
5. Ensure proper branch administration, documentation, cash handling, and compliance with company procedures.
6. Identify local market opportunities and implement effective sales strategies.
7. Monitor team performance and prepare branch performance reports.
8. Maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Candidate profile

1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business management, finance, marketing, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in branch management, retail management, sales leadership, or plantation/investment sales.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
4. Experience in recruiting, training, and leading high-performing sales teams.
5. Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
6. Strong administrative, documentation, and basic accounting knowledge.
7. Good understanding of local markets and business development.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of CRM or sales management systems will be an added advantage.
9. Excellent communication skills in Sinhala and English.
10. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with the capability to perform under pressure.
11. Experience in plantation investment products, insurance, or financial services will be a distinct advantage.
12. Knowledge of digital marketing will be an added advantage.
