Branch manager

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven branch manager with strong exposure to microfinance / financial services to lead branch operations, manage portfolio quality, drive business growth, strengthen recovery performance, and develop a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the branch portfolio and maintain healthy PAR levels
• Drive loan recovery and collection performance
• Ensure quality credit appraisal and responsible lending
• Achieve branch business and portfolio targets
• Monitor field operations and customer relationships
• Lead, motivate, and develop branch staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
• Identify opportunities for sustainable business growth
• Maintain high standards of customer service and operational discipline

Qualifications

• Minimum G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L)
• Diploma in credit management – an advantage
• Diploma in banking / finance – an advantage
• Qualification in business / management – an advantage
• Credit management qualifications – an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an assistant branch manager or branch manager
• Proven experience in a microfinance / finance company is essential
