System Support Engineer

Our client is a leading software development & web applications solutions provider in Sri Lanka-

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or an equivalent qualification
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role is a must
• Excellent issue troubleshooting skills, ability to make sound decisions in critical situations, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience in RedHat Linux and RHCSA/RHCE certification is essential
• Sound knowledge in web application servers (wildly, Glassfish, JBoss & Tomcat, etc)
• Sufficient understanding of databases such as MySQL, MS-SQL, and Oracle
• Familiarity with fundamental networking/ distributed computing environment concepts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Capability to work extended and irregular hours when required Capacity to handle multiple concurrent tasks
• Knowledge of Banking products would be an added advantage
