Senior Software Engineer (SQL)

We are looking for passionate candidates to join the Sri Lankan operations of an Australian-based cutting-edge Technology Company serving both government and private organizations in Australia, England, and New Zealand.

  analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data analysis and technical DBA tasks, including data extraction, cleansing, and migration
• Perform data validation and reconciliation
• Perform data correction as per error analysis
• Continual enhancement of data extraction and data migration strategies and tools
• Creation of quotes for reports stationery (farms) and data conversion
• Develop and maintain business reports using Excel, Crystal Repons, and Microsoft SSRS
• Develop and maintain Business Intelligence dashboards using SQL data warehouse and Microsoft Power BI
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Develop SQL and ETL queries
• End-to-end management of allocated project tasks
• Assist the project and support team with the investigation and resolution of technical matters
• Provide technical assistance to new projects and implementations
• Effectively communicate with all team members
• Ensuring administration, such as time sheets are completed timely and accurately

Essential

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent qualification
• Advanced skills in Microsoft SQL
• Data analysis, data import / export / migration
• Strong understanding of SQL scripting, stored procedure, triggers, etc
• Microsoft SSRS and TFS
