Senior QA Engineer

Key Job Responsibilities

• Create test cases, test plans and perform moderately complex test data conditioning and system testing
• Work closely with the development team and product/ project owner to verify requirements identifying, submitting, and verifying defects
• Project risk identification and communication
• Very good knowledge and work experience either in Performance Testing (JMeter / BlazeMeter) or Test Automation (Selenium / Telerik test studio)
• Ability to understand the domain and requirements of task/story considering the perspective of the end-user
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
• Provide test estimate to new projects
• Review the test case documents of the team members
• Approve or reject QA releases according to the QA team feedback
• Prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities in multiple projects
• Responsible for QA signoff to the projects before the live release
• Monitor all the Tasks, Bugs & Change requests reported in JIRA
• Internal demonstrations to Project managers
• Investigate client reported functionality issues
• Track quality assurance metrics
• Responsible for managing documentation
• Provide weekly QA summary report to the management

What are we looking for?

• BSc in Computing or Information Technology or any other equivalent/related
• Professional Qualification from a recognized institute
• Minimum 5 years experience in commercial web application testing
• Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies and departments
• Experience in mobile & browser compatibility testing
• Experience in Ul and UX testing
• Experience in defect tracking tools and procedures (Preferred JIRA)
• Strong knowledge and experience in agile QA Department (Preferred Scrum / Kanban)
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience in preparing and maintaining QA documentation
• Experience in API testing
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• ISTQB foundation level certification
