Quality Assurance Lead

Key Job Responsibilities

• Test functionality and review visual elements of small- and large-scale interactive deliverables
• Document and facilitate communication and troubleshooting of issues, bugs, changes
• Validate and close-out all issues prior to client delivery
• Collaborate with other QA staff to accomplish all daily QA tasks on time with a high level of quality
• Project risk identification and communication
• Very good knowledge and work experience either in Performance Testing (JMeter / BlazeMeter) or Test Automation (Selenium / Telerik test studio)
• Ability to understand the domain and requirements of task/story considering the perspective of the end-user
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
• Develop Department to ensure the highest level of quality assurance possible
• Investigate procedures, workflows, and software to keep our Departments up to date
• Mentor QA team members and share expertise
• Conduct daily touch-base meetings with QA
• Assist in the development of ongoing training programs for the QA Team
• Provide department specific orientation and training for new hire
• Maintain open communication with internal teams
• Assist with internal project kickoffs and requirements/specs gathering
• Plan and document the testing effort via test plans and test cases for the larger-scale projects

What are we looking for?

• BSc in Computing or Information Technology or any other equivalent/related Professional Qualification from a recognized institute
• Minimum 8 years experience in commercial web site/projects testing
• Proven experience working on web-based interactive projects
• Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies and Departments
• Proven track record and strang experience in mobile & browser compatibility testing, Ul and UX testing & agile QA Department (Preferred Scrum / Kanban)
• Demonstrated mentoring and management skills
• Demonstrated ability to creatively and proactively solve problems
• Experience in preparing and maintaining QA documentation
• Strong experience in Selenium test automation & security and performance testing
• ISTQB foundation level certification is a must
