Key responsibilities

• Lead the IT function, technology operations, infrastructure and enterprise applications.
• Develop and execute the IT strategy, roadmap, policies and governance framework.
• Ensure high standards of cybersecurity, information security, data protection, business continuity and IT risk management.
• Oversee core systems, networks, cloud/services, end-user technology and technology vendors.
• Drive digital transformation, automation and technology-enabled business improvement.
• Manage IT budgets, projects, service levels, suppliers and technology investments.
• Establish IT disaster recovery and resilience capabilities and ensure regulatory readiness.
• Build, coach and lead a high-performing technology team.

Candidate profile

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 10+ years’ progressive leadership experience in IT, including significant leadership experience in a regulated or financial-services environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, cloud, data and IT governance.
• Experience leading digital transformation and technology projects.
• Sound understanding of technology risk, business continuity and regulatory requirements.
• Strong vendor, budget and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, ITIL, COBIT, PMP or equivalent will be an advantage.
